Day 1

Arrive Elkhart Lake and check in to lodging at Siebkens Resort.

Dinner at Cottonwood Social—Inspired by local ingredients from Wisconsin’s lakes and lands, Cottonwood Social works with local farmers to offer the highest quality while also supporting the local community. The Social is very passionate about beverage selection, offering Wisconsin’s favorites as well as specialty cocktails and craft beers. The closest restaurant to the lake, it offers stunning views through the Cottonwood trees from the deck or inside at the full bar or cozy fireplace.

Day 2

Visit  Road  America  &  Elkhart  Lake’s Historic Race Circuit—During the early
1950s the village of Elkhart Lake transformed into an open-road race circuit as top sports car drivers traveled from around the world to take on the hills and sharp corners, and show off for thousands of adoring fans. Today racing has moved to Road America, but the historic circuit is still marked with signs like Wacker’s Wend, Kimberly’s Korner and Dicken’s Ditch.

Road America Experience—Situated on 640 grassy acres in the rolling, wooded hills of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine is Road America, an internationally-known motorsports complex. With one of the country’s longest road racing circuits (four-mile, 14-turn track), this world-acclaimed facility has been
hosting motor-sports events and enthusiasts since 1955 when the state legislature banned racing on public roads. During our visit, we’ll have an opportunity to learn about one of the world’s fastest permanent road racing tracks. In addition to its renowned history of pro and amateur racing, the facility hosts year-round activities for groups of all sizes— hospitality, corporate adventure programs, go-karting,   ATVs,   geocaching,   motorcycle and driving schools.

Lunch at Road America—After a day on the track, we’ll take a pit stop for lunch at one of Road America’s special-event spaces.

Pottery workshop at Two Fish Gallery—Play in the clay and try hand-building to design your own artistic creation. Finished pieces will be glazed, fired and shipped home. Be sure to save a little time to shop at Two Fish; you’re likely to find a few additional pieces to add to your collection.

Wine tasting at Vintage Elkhart Lake Wine Shop and Tasting Bar—Owned and operated by award-winning certified sommelier Jaclyn Stuart, the charming shop sells only wine that she hand-selects, offering unique brands. Enjoy time at the tasting bar, and pair your glass of wine with cheese plates, potato chip flights and other great pairing bites. Take home a bottle of wine and Wisconsin-based artisanal cheeses, available at the shop, along with other locally made gourmet food products including olive oils and vinegars bottled to order, craft beer, cigars, wine accessories, and gourmet fare like Indulgence Chocolatiers and Palo Popcorn.

Dinner at Paddock Club—Located in a fully restored historic building in downtown Elkhart Lake the Paddock Club, named after an infamous local gambling spot at the turn of the 20th century, combines seasonal ingredients with European culinary tradition to create extraordinary flavor! Enjoy handmade pastas, fresh fish, steaks, chops and unique desserts like none other. Take in a view of the bustling open kitchen from its turn-of- the-century bar. The Paddock Club is also a recipient of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence!

Day 3

Cooking Class at L’ecole de la Maison Cooking School—Whether you love to cook and want to enhance your culinary skills, or you just enjoy learning about great food, L’ecole de la Maison is a great environment to develop your passion.
Learn how to infuse big flavor the wellness way with The Menu of Wellness! They will teach you to feel confident in choosing and preparing better food, and create innovative, fresh and flavorful dishes. This will include a fruit smoothie bowl, quinoa pomegranate salad, egg shak shuka and chia seed pudding. .

Beach  fun  and  water  sports—From the days when Native Americans lived on its banks, the pristine quality of Elkhart Lake’s water has soothed the souls of people from far and wide – and kept them coming back year after year.  To  many,  it’s  the  legendary water of Elkhart Lake that makes it famous, so kick of your shoes and walk in the sand or venture out on the crystal clear lake!

Dinner at Lake Street Café—An eclectic café serving creative California Bistro style fare with perhaps Elkhart Lake’s largest bar selection, Lake Street Café also offers a variety of specialty beers and has the state’s third largest wine list, receiving the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2003. Lake Street Café is unique in that it has a very family friendly atmosphere on one side and an elegantly casual dining room on the other side.

Day 4

Guided fishing on Elkhart Lake with Jay’s Guide Service—At 119 feet deep and 292 acres, the lake is home to a wide variety of fish species: musky, walleye, northern pike, large mouth and small mouth bass, yellow perch, bluegill and crappie all inhabit the lake. Jay Brickner is a Wisconsin-licensed guide and has been guiding year- round on area lakes since 1996. Whether you are a true fishing enthusiast  or  just  enjoy  spending time on the water, Jay will do his best to provide a memorable trip!

Lunch at The Stop Inn Tavern—Enjoy a casual, family-friendly lunch in the historic Tavern building. A house specialty is their world-famous Siebkens Sandwich. The family recipe for its homemade rye bread is tightly held and dates back four generations.

Aspira Spa Treatment—Enjoy a spa treatment at one of the Midwest’s premier     spas.  Meaning ‘infused with spirit’, Aspira was borne on the banks of a lake considered sacred by the Native Americans who lived there.
