La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico – Itinerary

Tucked away on the eastern side of the Baja California Sur, an approximately two-hour drive north of Cabo San Lucas, travelers will find La Paz. This charming destination is ideally situated along the peaceful waters of the Sea of Cortez. Named “the world’s aquarium” by renowned French marine biologist Jacques Cousteau, it is considered one of the world’s most internationally prized ecosystems and home to more than 900 species of fish and 5,000 species of micro-invertebrates. Travelers can enjoy a variety of aquatic activities such as snorkeling with sea lions, swimming with whale sharks, whale watching and more.
